February 17 20268:00 am – 3:00 pmAll Iowa Concert Band Fest (TBD)
The Guy Blair All-Iowa Concert Band Festival presented by Bob Rogers Travel is a unique, non-competitive performance opportunity for Iowa high school concert bands. It offers an educational growth experience for everyone involved: students, directors and audiences. Each band receives expert feedback from two nationally known clinicians from throughout the United States and a local clinician, and every band director receives personal feedback from a conducting clinician. After the students’ performance, one of the nationally known clinicians will go with the band to a second area and give them instant feedback and a clinic on things they can do to help them improve. Bands get to experience the festival not only as performers but as audience members, too. This teaches young musicians proper audience etiquette and pushes them to become better active listeners and evaluators, encouraging the discovery of their own musical tastes and interpretations.
Performances begin at 8 AM and will last until 3:00 PM in the Pella Christian High School Vermeer Auditorium.

February 19 20268:35 am – 9:05 amGS Discipleship Groups
All K-8 students at Pella Christian Grade School are part of a Discipleship Group—a multi-grade community where faith comes alive. These groups meet throughout the year to pray with and for one another, explore God’s Word, and engage in fun, meaningful activities. Discipleship Groups foster spiritual growth, build lasting friendships, and create a generational community where students support one another in their walk with Christ. Join us in praying for today’s discipleship group event.
