This spring, we again have the opportunity to come together in support of Pella Christian Schools through our annual Help Us Soar campaign. We do so with this year’s school theme, “Transformed by God’s Story” as our foundation.
Your generous contributions will assist in the transformation and enhancement of our places and programs, allowing us to remain focused on our mission and the transformation happening in the lives of our students.
This year’s Help Us Soar campaign will support the new PCGS Playground and PCHS Capital Improvements to the high school campus.

PCGS Playground Update
Upgrading the PCGS “downhill” playground:
PROVIDES PLAY FOR ALL ABILITIES
- The equipment will include additional activities that doesn’t require climbing to play.
- The new safety service allows for running, jumping, walking with crutches and rolling in a wheel chair. Let’s bring fun to all!
ADDS NEW SAFETY FEATURES
- The rubber mulch will be replaced with a mobility-friendly safety surface.
- The existing wood structure has been well-loved for over 40 years and will be replaced.
- The playground area will be regraded and a new retaining wall added.
SUPPORTS ENROLLMENT GROWTH
- With more students comes the need for more equipment and activities.
- More swings, more slides, more fun!
PCHS Capital Improvements
Supporting the PCHS Capital Campaign includes upgrades to the Pella Christian High School campus.
PCHS SCHOOL BUILDING & CAMPUS UPGRADES
- Our PCHS Campus is nearly 20 years old and a variety of updates are needed to keep students learning in a comfortable environment.
- Though these upgrades are not necessarily “fun,” they are needed. From caulking the roof joints, to replacing heat pumps, upgrading stadium and auditorium systems, and other building maintenance, supporting the PCHS Capital Campaign provides our students with campus facilities that encourage learning, worship and growth.
